Popularly referred to by his stage name Afrojack, Nick Van de Wall is a young Grammy- Award winning Dutch music producer and DJ. He was born in September 1987 in Rotterdam, one of the suburbs of Spijkenisse, Netherlands.
Just like any other producer and DJ, Afrojack has similarly had his fair share of challenges before becoming a Grammy- Award winning artist. He has encountered challenge after challenge ever since he started his label Wall Recordings in 2007. From that moment henceforth, his label accelerated a series of quality releases from the young Dutch Producer, ranging from 'Proper Introduction', 'Don’t Be' to 'Thief'. After the release of these three quality releases, Afrojack was soon rated as one of the genius producers in Netherlands. As a result, the young producer has embarked on a number of collaborations with some renowned international artists among them Diplo, David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Kid Cudi and Steve Angello to mention but a few international artists who he has worked closely with.
It didn’t take long for him to go back to the clubs in the year 2008 when he released 'Do My Dance' and 'Math'. As predicted by his fans, the two tracks didn’t take a long time before they were picked up by nearly every leading name in the music industry. As a result, he collaborated with other musicians to release 'Drop Down' which is remix of 'Do My Dance'. Due to this music receiving a lot of ratings from fans, Afrojack featured in Dutch music charts for the first time in 2008.
To take his career a notch higher, Afrojack has started working closely with Eva Simons, a renowned Dutch vocal talent. Some major labels have started expressing huge interest in him and they are now supporting him in touring other nations such as the US and Australia in order to showcase his talent. With time, Afrojack will soon replicate other leading breakthrough artists among them Fedde Le Grand and Sidney Samson.
