The Baltimore Ravens are coming off an extremely disappointing season with only five wins, when some considered them in the running for a Super Bowl appearance. They took this offseason to tinker with the lineup both through free agency and the draft, to fill some holes and attempt to return the franchise to the postseason in 2016. Offensively, Baltimore lost key guard Kelechi Osemele, which hurts because he can play tackle as well, but they had already re-signed Marshal Yanda mid-season and giving two guards top money is difficult to do in today’s NFL. The Ravens added some depth to their line during the draft by selecting two tackles; Notre Dame’s Ronnie Stanley with their number one selection and Alex Lewis from Nebraska in the fourth round. After signing a contract extension which frees up some salary cap money moving forward for the team, quarterback Joe Flacco now has two new weapons at his disposal who came to Baltimore via free agency. Former New Orleans Saints tight end Ben Watson and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Mike Wallace are now part of the Ravens offense and should contribute right away in 2016. Watson should be a great red zone target while Wallace offers upside as a deep threat. Baltimore still has a running back by committee approach with Justin Forsett and Javorius Allen, it will be interesting to see how that plays out this season.

M&T Bank Stadium TicketsPerhaps the Ravens best addition this offseason was on the defensive side of the ball. Former San Diego Chargers safety Eric Weddle came over to the Ravens during free agency and will provide a ready-made replacement for Will Hill who was let go due to violations of the NFL’s substance abuse policy. In an attempt to get younger in their pass rush, Baltimore drafted linebacker Kamalei Correa in the second round who can get to the quarterback in a variety of ways; beating tackles outside with his speed or to the inside with a power move.

Ravens fans trust in Ozzie Newsome and hope that he made the right moves this offseason to place this team back in contention in the AFC North. Considering the rough 2015, this team should show improvement in 2016 much to delight of Baltimore Ravens ticket holders. Fans should be sure to secure their Baltimore Ravens tickets and come out to support this talented team all season long.
