Bruce Springsteen tickets were never going to last forever, and those for his Wrecking Ball Tour will be tapped out once the heartland rock outfit finishes three more legs. The E Street Band will be joining Bruce for concerts in North America, across the Pacific inAustralia, and on a trip west inEurope. The inspiration for this is the album Wrecking Ball, an album finding Springsteen as perfectly as ever bringing the struggle of working men and women, blue collar and white, to the forefront.

The big hit from the album has been the lead single, “We Take Care of Our Own”. The song debuted at the Grammy Awards and received Grammy nominations the next time around. Though instrumentally up tempo and most definitely contemporary (the sound is eerily similar to Arcade Fire), the subject matter is not. Bruce sings of a bitterAmerica, one tired and suddenly not as willing to help. It is an emotional offering belonging in the class of show stoppers with “Born in theU.S.A.”, perhaps the biggest hit in his and the E Street Band’s long and storied career, and “Glory Days”.

Like both those songs, it did not win its Grammy nomination. Springsteen can hardly feel slighted though. He has won 20 Grammy Awards in his career. His first came back in 1984, when “Dancing in the Dark” won the award for Best Rock Vocal Performance (Male). This award had been perceived as a longtime coming, as Springsteen had already been a break out star with the E Street Band as his backing band for nearly a decade. Despite the string of successful albums, the most-awarded effort would be an entry on a movie soundtrack. “Streets ofPhiladelphia” had been a part of the Best Picture Philadelphia’s soundtrack and brought home four awards – Best Rock Song, Best Rock Vocal Performance (Solo), Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television, and Song of the Year.

Award winner or not, the legendary man who helped take a particular brand of rock out of the heartland and onto an international stage and his back band still perform live. These Bruce Springsteen concert tickets put the rock group in front of tens of thousands of fans at a time each time out, including this last trip around the world on the Wrecking Ball World Tour.
