Before this Guy had performed many live concerts with his usual energetic blues and blues rock which predated the 1960’s blues rocker and many musicians have contributed his style as having a huge impact on the blues and rock and roll of that time era influencing the new generation of artists coming out then. Buddy Guy has been called the “bridge between the blues and rock and roll”. Musicians the likes of Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page give him credit for influencing them as well as revivalist Stevie Ray Vaughan who went so far as to state that, “Without Buddy Guy, there would be no Stevie Ray Vaughan.” If you have never heard Buddy Guy do not miss your chance to see him live and in person at the Paramount Theatre in Colorado!
