The Hurricanes front office is counting on the addition of these two forwards to produce a great overall season. Last season the team made the playoffs, but they started playing well so late the upward momentum was not enough to earn a spot in the postseason. This season Carolina hockey fans expect a great 48 games and a return to the Stanley Cup playoffs after three years away.
