Charlotte Bobcats Tickets

Once upon a time, the Hornets ruled Charlotte, North Carolina, but they flew to New Orleans to become the New Orleans Hornets. Once the Hornets left,  the bobcats moved into the city to form the Charlotte Bobcats in 2004. The Bobcats are in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference, where they play at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In the middle of the 2010-11 season, the head coach of the Bobcats, Larry Brown, was replaced by Paul Silas to finish out the remainder of the season. For now, he is the new head coach of the Bobcats and wants to bring back the bond that existed between the NBA team and the people of the city. Previously, he head coached the Charlotte Hornets and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Clearly, Michael Jordan, the team's owner, thinks he can get this team back on its feet.

The Bobcats had a less than average 2010-11 season. They were able to capture 34 wins and 48 loses to put them at forth in the Southeast Division and tenth in the Eastern Conference, missing the playoffs.

The den of the Bobcats is the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was opened in 2005 with a seating capacity of 19,077 people. Currently, it houses the largest indoor arena video screen, which is 16 feet by 18 feet.

The Bobcats have not been fortunate enough to have a NBA championship win or even an appearance. Hopefully, the combination of Michael Jordan and Paul Silas will change this and accomplish the even more important goal of rebuilding the link between the fans and the team. Even though all the action happens on the court, a team would be nothing without its fans supporting them from the stadium.
