If people don't know a lot about the NBA, they do know one team, the Chicago Bulls. They were formed in 1966, but it wasn't until the 1990s when they would become as well known as they are today. Lead by head coach Phil Jackson, and his players: Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, the Bulls were able to win two three peat NBA championships. The Bulls are in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference, where they play at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

The current head coach to lead this great dynasty is Tom Thibodeau. His previous experience included only assistant coaching in the NBA, but that did not stop him from having no hesitation when taking the reigns of the Bulls. He joined the team in 2010 and, in his first season, was able to lead them to a 62 win season.

The Bulls had a fantastic 2010-11 season with 62 wins and only 20 loses. They were placed at first in the Central Division and first in the Eastern Conference, earning the number one playoff seed. They crushed the Indiana Pacers in the First Round and beat the Atlanta Hawks in Game Six of the Conference Semi Finals, but their streak was finished when they lost to the Miami Heat in Games Five of the Conference Finals.

Today, the Bulls are housed by the United Center. Opened in 1994, the United Center has a seating capacity of 19,717 people. In 2009, the 300 Level concourse went through major renovations to make the fans' experience more satisfying.

Winning every one of the NBA championships they have made it to, the Bulls have the third most championship wins in the NBA, with six wins. Their first streak started in 1991 and went through to 1993. Followed by a streak that began in 1996 and ended in 1998.

The Bulls have left their mark in NBA history and will always be remembered as one of the NBA's greatest teams. Today, they are still a great team that continues to be at the top of the Eastern Conference rankings, continuing the legacy they started long ago.
