One of the older teams in the NFL, the Cleveland Browns were formed in 1946 in the All-American Football Conference until 1949. In 1950, they moved to the NFL and have been there ever since, but they have been unable to secure a Super Bowl championship in their existence. The Browns are in the North Division of the American Football Conference, where they play at the, originally named, Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

The newest head coach of the Browns, Pat Shurmur, who joined the team in 2011 and is yearning to show what he can do. This will be his first head coaching position in his 12 years of coaching in the NFL. This past season, the Browns were only able to capture five wins and 11 loses. This less than average record put them at third in their division with no shot at the playoffs.

The home of the Browns is the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. The stadium was opened in 1999 with a seating capacity of 73,200 people and with a grass surface. It also has an underground heating system that keeps the field from freezing in cold temperatures.

The last few seasons have not gone well for the Browns, but a new era is about to unfold with their new head coach. Maybe, Coach Shurmur will have what it takes to lift this team back up to the status of a great NFL team.
