Denver Broncos Vice President of football operations John Elway, and head coach John Fox got their man. The four time MVP Peyton Manning, formerly of the Indianapolis Colts, has made his decision to trade in the horseshoe for the horse and become a Bronco. Manning underwent three, possibly four, neck operations over a 19-month span, culminating with the procedure in the beginning of the 2011 season that ultimately forced him to the sideline for the entire season. But he apparently has recovered and has been cleared to play. Manning worked out for the Broncos as he did for the San Francisco 49ers and the Tennessee Titans, and the Broncos saw enough to be satisfied that the nerve damage in Manning's throwing arm was sufficiently recovered. They were satisfied enough to offer Manning somewhere in the neighborhood of 95 million dollars for a five year contract.

This is quite the historic move on the part of the Denver Broncos and a lot of questions and pieces of the puzzle will have to come together before the next season arrives, but in the meantime, Denver Bronco mania is alive and well. One of the decisions that will definitely have to be addressed is what will happen to Tim Tebow and Tebowmani. No matter what becomes of all the decisions, the fact is that the Denver Broncos now have Peyton Manning, one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Season tickets are available and the probability that they become more in demand than ever is pretty good.
