The English R&B duo Floetry is comprised of Marsha Ambrosius and Natalie Stewart and during their first run they recorded two studio albums Floetic (2002) & Flo’Ology (2005) , one live album Floacism (2003) the live two-disc set consisted of a CD and DVD, combined they sold over 1,500,000 records worldwide. Coming a long way from their simple beginnings as performance on poetry stage the duo parted ways after Ambrosius signed a solo record with Aftermath Entertainment. Stewart went on to release an extended play and her own solo album, Floetic Soul, in 2011. Ambrosius released her debut solo album, Late Nights & Early Mornings the duo reunited in December of 2014 when Stewart joined Ambrosius at her concert at The Clapham Grand in London and performed, “Floetic.” The duo has confirmed suspicions that they are heading out on tour together again. The ladies work together as smoothly as a river runs through getting back to their roots with a renewed energy. The Grammy-nominated group fuses a mix of R&B with hip hop that transcends normal expectations and takes you on a journey through their vision of sensational sounds that are sultry and have a contagious energy in every recording and show the duo puts on. Their songs are fun, melodic with lyrics that reach into their lives and make the music as real as if they were storytelling from their daily lives.
