Good Old War is a band comprised of former members of the band Days Away and the band’s name is made up of a selection of pieces of the last names of the three founding members, Goodwin, Arnold, and Schwartz. Good Old War acted as a backing band (both live and in studio) for Anthony Greene’s album “Avalon” and went out on tour to support the Circa Survive vocalist. The band recorded their debut album “Only Way To Be Alone.” Their self-titled second album was released in June of 2010 it peaked at #150 on the Billboard 200. Their first single from their sophomore release was titled “My Own Sinking Ship” and was made available for free download. The band is currently recording and releasing a steady string of hits building their fan base. Come Back as Rain arrived in 2012, followed by, Live from the City of Brotherly Love in 2013. Their most recent album “Broken Into Better Shape” is a 10-song collection and is the bands fourth full-length release and due out summer of 2015 to be released on Nettwerk. The band’s sound is folksy with a rock edginess to it that brings something new and different and takes their sound to a whole new playing level. Their fresh take on an old genre is bringing in fans by the truckload to see Good Old War every chance they get because the band puts on a sensational show with their beautiful music.
