Just last month, I was invited by a friend to see Justin Timberlake in concert. It was a clear good day in Boston and before the sun sets, we excitedly head to Fenway Park. It was considered by many as summer's hottest tour. We were looking forward to see Justin but he’s paired up with Jay-Z and we couldn’t ask for more.
The concert venue was very spectacular and jazzed up. The moment that you step inside, you know that there’s a legend performing in minutes. It’s just full of energy and mind boggling visuals. The crowd went wild when Justin Timberlake finally stepped on stage. Justin definitely owned the stage with hits like “Holy Grail”, “Rock your Body”,“I Just Wanna Love You (Give It To Me) and other songs with Jay-Z rapping in the background.
Vocally, Justin Timberlake was still phenomenal ever since his N’Sync days. It seems that the energy of his youth didn’t change. He’s looking more matured as a performer but a wide range of audience still relates to him. His moves, dances and style would let you wondering if he ever gets tired. Despite so many songs he’s performed for two and a half hours, the energy was still present until he sang the ever famous “Sexy Back”. The crowd was singing and dancing throughout the concert. Nobody seemed to sit down even for a minute. Justine Timberlake changed outfits for like three to four times and his sense of fashion is another thing that I personally love about him. His talent, passion for music and fashion style is endless. There's no doubt he's got another upcoming solo tour which I'm looking forward to seeing again.
There are many artists out there but only some really understands current social and political issues. Before the concert ends, Justin Timberlake, along with his partner Jay-Z made a few comments about the recent bombing in Boston and asked the crowd to show love to their hometown.
