Katt Williams is not a man to be trifled with. He is a comedian who is going to take on all comers. He may not have the physical stature to win every battle, but he does have the kind of wit that will make sure he always gets the last word and turn the audience on his side. This is why Katt Williams tickets are so popular and why he has released six comedy specials.
His first special, Katt Williams: Let a Playa Play, came out 16 years after he first chose to pursue standup comedy inCincinnati,Ohio. He came from the Avondale neighborhood as an irascible, pint-sized punk with quite a mouth on him. Ultimately these characteristics would prove a detriment in any other field. Alas, these very elements have made him one of the most successful standup comedians of the time.
Kattpacalypse, his latest and sixth special, brings him back after a three-year hiatus from standup comedy. He returned to sprint from one side of the stage to the other (in a light blue suit with a hair cut out of the Wizard of Oz) and continue just where he left off. He is taking on politics, specifically the presidency of Barrack Obama, racism, sex, and society in general. He is coming to the end of the tour in support of this grand return.
In between these two efforts, Katt Williams starred in First Sunday and became a regular on Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘n Out. He managed to flood the market with material and an affinity for the “n” word, as one can tell in The Pimp Chronicles, Pt. 1, Katthouse, Pimpadelic, and 9 Lives.
His future plans are sure to include putting together material for a new special, awaiting the release of Scary Movie 5, and trying to avoid getting into any more trouble. He has had a number of incidents during live performances, but he is going to get passed this because, frankly, he is an outrageous character. That outrageous character is going to keep Katt Williams comedy tickets moving as he perfects a new show.
