With over four decades of musical know-how, Kenny Loggins is coming to Hudson Gardens which sits along the bank of the South Platte River for a show surrounded by the beautiful scenery on Sunday August 16 at 6:30PM. Loggins is currently a member of Blue Sky Riders, a country and music trio featuring Gary Burr and Georgia Middleman they released their debut album, Finally Home, on January 29, 2013. Kenny continues to record and produce Adult Contemporary music and scored a No. 1 single on the Billboard AC chart with his Oscar-nominated song from One Fine Day, For The First Time. Loggins has recorded so many successful songs for film soundtracks he is still to this day referred to as “King of the Movie Soundtrack”. Beginning with, I’m Alright, from “Caddyshack” with hits following with Footloose and I’m Free (Heaven Helps the Man) from “Footloose”; Meet Me Half Way from “Over the Top”. He had seven albums released with Jim Messina, of which two were platinum and five were gold. After going solo Kenny Loggins released thirteen albums, three of which were certified gold, and four became platinum. His career with Jim Messina brought both artists the success to enhance their already outstanding skills and both have noted that their collaboration actually became more of a competition than a genuine partnership so the two amicably split to pursue solo careers after the release of Native Sons. Notable recent appearances have him playing himself as the host of an in-game radio station called Los Santos Rock Radio in the 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto V.
