His family roots and musical roots run deep, and he draws upon them to do the sort of work that expresses his views and moral attitude. In spite of his public image as a rock-and-roll bad boy, it turns out that he is actually a conservative family man.

His success continues to grow as well, leading him to the many different genres he enjoys. With collaborations becoming a large element of his recordings, it would be expected that more groundbreaking music is still to come.
