Kip Moore continues to set the country world ablaze, as he has had one of the best years of any country music star in 2013. The 33-year-old country singer from Titon, Georgia had a huge 2012 with the release of his debut album, Up All Night. He has since followed that up with an even better 2013, including a fantastic summer tour with none other than country great Toby Keith, and is riding the wave of success into the latter half of the year.
The country music star has a very interesting background, as he made his musical debut in college, playing at the Mellow Mushroom restaurant in Georgia. After not having much musical success initially, he moved to Hawaii where he began surfing quite frequently. He came back to the United States, specifically Nashville, in 2004 where he found music again, and the rest is history.
He has a breakout single at the end of 2011 with 'Somethin Bout a Truck' and followed that up with several hits in 2012 including 'Beer Money.' The year 2013 has been all about the runaway hit 'Hey Pretty Girl' which took the country airwaves by storm and melted hearts with its touching lyrics.
This summer marked the first big touring year for Kip Moore, who hit the road with none other than the country music icon Toby Keith. The tour with Toby Keith has been a major success for him, and they will continue to play shows through the fall months in Connecticut, Virginia, New York, as well as Iowa.
He has seen a great deal of both critical acclaim, and love from his fans for the music that he has put out in 2013 thus far. Kip Moore has been rewarded for his hard work with a Breakthrough Video of the Year nomination for 'Beer Money' at the CMT Music Awards. With his fan base continuing to grow, he absolutely appears to be on track for an even bigger year in 2014.
