Sometimes it’s not about how good you are or being there at the right time, but it’s about whom you know. Little Big Town is that second half of the sentence. They have been great for a long time and have called Nashville home for over a decade. They jammed with Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney, the future guys from Rascal Flatts. And, it took that friendship and the connections made playing every single club in the capital of country to finally launch their career. Now Little Big Town tickets are something fans are looking for in cities across the nation, not just by friends showing moral support.

These fans are waiting, eagerly, to hear the break through hit “Boondocks” and the big hit of the summer of 2012, “Pontoon”. This hit has become so infectious just about every country artist under the age of 35 has released a YouTube rendition of LBT’s ode to drinking while lazily floating down the river.

Pontoon is also the first single from the band’s fifth studio album, Tornado. Tornado is due out September 11, 2012 and the Little Big Town is already out on tour supporting the Rascal Flatts on the Changed Tour as a supporting act. The summer concerts are going strong and will actually end in the fall at West Palm Beach in Florida on October 27, 2012.

Obviously, Little Big Town will be playing a few tracks from the new album during those performances, but they gave a complete preview on August 22, 2012 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville. The audience’s reaction provided reason to believe the album will become much bigger than the number two hit on the Billboard country airplay charts, perhaps giving LBT its second number one country album. Perhaps earning enough acclaim to inspire the reclassification of LBT tickets from supporting act to headliner.
