The Los Angeles Clippers share the same home as the Los Angeles Lakers. Unfortunately, the Lakers' ability to be one the best teams in the NBA never rubbed off on the Clippers. Nevertheless, they are always ready to put up a fight with any team that challenges them. The Clippers were formed in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves, they then changed to the San Diego Clippers, and then to the Los Angeles Clippers in 1984. The Clippers are in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference, where they play at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The new head coach of the Clippers is Vinny Del Negro, who was previously the head coach of the Chicago Bulls from 2008 to 2010. Then, in July 2010, he accepted the head coaching position for the Clippers. He has had only one season with the Clippers, which involved them not getting to the playoffs.

The Clippers were able to produce 32 wins and 50 loses in the 2010-11 season. This placed them at fourth place in the Pacific Division and thirteenth place in the Western Conference.

The Clippers' home is the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Opened in 1999, it has the unusual task of hosting two NBA teams, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers. For the Clippers' games, it has a seating capacity of 19,060 people, a couple of seats more than a Lakers' game, and includes 160 luxury suites.

Although the Clippers have never won a championship, conference, or even a division title, they are still in the NBA and they are still winning games throughout the season. Their record may not be the best, but the right combination of players and coaches have to come together for a team to finally shoot for a championship.
