The beloved trio of brothers who make up Los Lonely Boys, Jojo Garza bassist and vocalist along with Henry on vocals & guitar and Ringo (drums, vocals) had this to say about their band “As musicians and artists, we’re here to connect with people, and to share our view of things.” The siblings are out to make music that reveals to the world who they are in their everyday lives and the world going on around them, they want that to come through in their music. Their style is said to be a melodic blend of bluesy rock ‘n’ roll and rootsy brown-eyed soul that has endeared them to their fiercely loyal fan base. Incorporating an eclectic variety of musicians into their music to keep the writing fresh and unique. The guys started out backing their father who was a member of another sibling group, The Falcones, which played during the 70s and 80s. Backing their father for a short time until they learned the business then the boys began writing and performing their own material as a trio. The brothers recorded their debut eponymous debut album in 2003. When it was rereleased for major-label distribution by Epic Records it won the band a large national audience and its lead single, “Heaven” became a Top 20 pop hit, reaching #1 spot on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart and eventually won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. The brothers are out to make music that brings people together, not music that divides people.
