Luke Bryan is having the time of his life touring with Jason Aldean. He is happy to play before tens of thousands of fans who want to take the My Kinda Party Tour quite literally. It turns out, for many of the fans arriving with Luke Bryan tickets are those of the female persuasion and their kind of party is the kind that involves treating the singer like a sex symbol. While it is no surprise that Bryan has no issue with the status, it can be a little bit of a shocker to find out his wife does not mind one bit. The sexier these fans think he is (which is apparently measured in how many pictures of his butt show up on Tumblr) the more popular he is and the more people are willing to support his career, and, in turn, his family. So, while the country ladies are letting him know they find him sexy, he let them know first. The single, the first from his album Tailgates & Tanlines, went double platinum. Ultimately, the equally impressive reaction to “I Don’t Want This Night to End” and “Drunk on You” helped take the album platinum.

By this time next year Luke Bryan will likely be on a headlining tour of his own, something his fans, his wife, and his manager believe he deserves. This is one of those careers people can get behind. He initially chose to do the responsible thing and go to work for his father, but he, and everyone else, encouraged Luke to go to Nashville and take a shot at his dream. It took six years, but Luke Bryan would eventually release albums and sell concert tickets on a major tours. This year, 2012, appears to be the year in which he finally makes the jump from up-and-coming artist to arena headliner.
