The On Fire Tour has come to an end, but the battle goes on for Miranda Lambert. Four the Record is not even a year old and she has just released the third single from the album, “Fastest Girl in Town”. Despite the name for the tour, this album has slowly been cooking and keeps paying dividends. There are certainly going to be more Miranda Lambert tickets for show dates until the end of 2012, though this time without the likes of Chris Young, Jerrod Niemann, Lee Brice, Thomas Rhett, and the super group Pistol Annies.
The former American Idol winner and pop artist convert Lambert is waiting for “Fastest” to become her fifth straight gold-certified song (“Baggage Claim” and “Over You”, the other two singles from the album), perhaps even returning her to platinum status. Miranda has already performed the song at the Canadian Country Music Awards and she should look forward to performing at the American version, a.k.a. the big leagues. She will not simply be there to perform a new song, but to see how she and her four CMA nominations fare.
Lambert is up for Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year (“Over You”), and Music Video of the Year (“Over You”). “Over You” is the most likely to bring home awards. It has already won Female Video of the Year at the CMT Awards, though the album won album of the year from the Academy of Country Music.
This is an artist with big things on the horizon. Her albums are loved, her singles are sung by her fans in the safety of their cars, and she has even flirted with acting. Still, as with any other country artist, the focus is on Miranda Lambert tickets. She continues to grow as a performer transforming that youthful exuberance for a tight show that is just as enticing. Whether, it is as a solo artist or as a part of the Pistol Annies, she is a singer the fans and the critics want to see, to hear, and to cheer on as she becomes a far more important figure in Nashville.
