The current Super Bowl Champions are the New York Giants. Though it was not an easy road to the top, the Giants are no stranger to adversity; they have proven once again they can accomplish the greatest of victories. Since they were established in 1925, the Giants have brought great pride to the Big Apple. Playing a sport in New York comes with great expectations and the Giants sure do not disappoint. Over the course of their time in Professional Football, they have over 30 Playoff Appearances (31), 16 Division Championships, 11 Conference Championships, and 8 League Championships. The Giants compete in the East Division of the NFC, where they play at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Last season was one the entire Giants organization will never forget. They finished the regular season with a 9-7 Record.  The Giants entered the Playoffs competing in the Wild Card Game, where they defeated the Atlanta Falcons. During the Divisional Playoffs they defeated the tough Green Bay Packers. Next they defeated the San Francisco 49ers in a close NFC Championship game. Finally they had reached the Super Bowl once again, taking on the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl XLII rematch. They defeated the Patriots for a second time earning the Lombardi Trophy for the organizations 4^th Super Bowl Title! Under the leadership of Head Coach Tom Coughlin, and Quarterback Eli Manning, this is just the beginning for the Giants.

The Giants play their home games at MetLife Stadium, formerly known as New Meadowlands Stadium, in New Jersey. This venue hosts not only the New York Giants, but also The New York Jets. This makes for one of the best football venues, because it is filled with diehard fans of both organizations. This sizeable Stadium seats approximately 82,566 fans. Fans from all over travel to see this venue due to its high quality game viewing experience. MetLife stadium will even host Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014. Hopefully the Giants will find themselves playing at their home stadium for the Super Bowl.

Do the New York Giants have what it takes to win another Super Bowl? The Giants unquestionably do. They have proven over the last few seasons that they have the brains and the talent to strategize a Super Bowl caliber game plan. With now Veteran Quarterback Eli Manning, young star Wide Receiver Victor Cruz, and an impenetrable defense, the Giants are far from done. Though they are Super Bowl Champions once again, it is in the past. The 2012 season is a brand new day, and the Giants look to make sure the Lombardi Trophy stays right where it belongs, with the New York Giants.
