Rick Springfield, an Australian musician is one of the few celebrities that have managed to keep his fans focused on him for quite along period of time. And one of the tricks he used to achieve this is through his great performance.
The 64-year-old rock and roller artist first made his name famous as a rock star and an actor at the same time. He made his first hit “Jesse’s Girls” in 1981. He later started exploring his talent in writing while still doing music and acting. Rick has just released his first novel “Magnificent Vibration” a novel that depicts lots of science fictions.
Rick started playing guitar when he was 13 years and then joined different bands in England. He was able to rise from lead guitarist in different bands to become an independent musician. Through his music career, Springfield has received a number of awards. For example in 1982 he got the best Rock Vocal male performance award (for Jessie’s Girl) and was nominated in 1983 twice and 1984 once for the same award.
Apart from singing, Rick Springfield has also succeeded in his acting career that he started in 1978. He first played Zac in Saga of a Star world. He was then featured in different movies and soap operas. He has starred in movies such as Showtime's Californication in the third season.
And back to his music, to date Rick Springfield continues to rock the world with hit songs just like he used to do in the 80’s. His latest song, End of the year which came out in 2012, had a positive reception from the music critics. His fans took it to be another rare opportunity to enjoy his great song considering the fact that he is very busy on other activities.
