The music industry has undergone an incredible change over the last few years. There are more independent labels and more media outlets than ever to listen to the music people love. The live experience has changed as well. Instead of individual headlining tours, the opportunity to purchase Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival tickets and those musical festivals similar to the heavy metal and hard rock event have become the dominant force in 2012 for just about every music genre.
It is all about spending the day at the fairgrounds, camp grounds, or at an outdoor amphitheater to enjoy multiple stages blasting music all day long. Suddenly, a day at a concert becomes a day listening to a radio station formatted for that particular audience’s taste. Many of these festivals cover a single weekend or maybe two at a single location. The Uproar Festival takes its three stages of heavy metal and hard rock acts and sends them across the country from August to September and has done so for three years now.
This time around, Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, and Adelitas Way operate on the main stage. Papa Roach played the first five dates of this incredible tour, but were forced to back out after the lead singer Jacoby Shaddix had to undergo emergency vocal surgery. The Ernie Ball stage features P.O.D., Fozzy, Mindset Evolution, and Candlelight Red. The Jagermeister Stage has Deuce, Redlight King, In This Moment, and Thousand Foot Krutch bellowing and rap rocking throughout the day. Really, alternative metal and rap rock bands are particularly dominant on the Ernie and Jagermeister Stage with the more established hard rock genre owning the main stage.
The 2012 tour began on August 17, 2012 in Kansas City at the Capitol Federal Park at Sandstone and will end 29 show dates later in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Hard Rock Casino Presents the Pavilion. This summer’s Uproar Festival tickets have demonstrated there is a demand for a concert outlet for hard rock and heavy metal music. John Reese has been well aware of this, and that is why this is the third rock and metal-oriented touring musical festival he has founded. Thus, the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival joins his two other creations, the Mayhem Festival and the Taste of Chaos tour as a proof that he may be a savior to these music communities.
