The famed String Cheese Incident is scheduled to come to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for three days this July 15, 16, & 17th. Red Rocks Amphitheatre located at 18300 Alameda Way in Morrison, Co and this year three unique artists are coming for each night. Friday, July 15 performing live will be, Tauk, who, Live for Live Music says “In short, TAUK is unstoppable, if you haven’t seen them, dear God, go.” The band comes out of Oyster Bay, NY, and their music style is heavy instrumental rock-fusion, a unique musical identity that is quickly setting them apart from all others. TAUK the band is comprised of Matt Jalbert (guitar), Charlie Dolan (Bass), Alric “A.C.” Carter (keyboard-organ), and Isaac Teel (Drums). On Saturday, July 16 patrons at Red Rock will see Kamasi Washington performing live. Kamasi Washington is the sax player who recorded his first self-titled album while enrolled at UCLA and has since collaborated with such high-profile names as Snoop Dogg, Raphael Saadiq, PJ Morton and many more. HIs music covers indie rock, contemporary and progressive jazz, and experimental electronic music. Sunday the 17th will be HOT RIZE, Bluegrass legends who have been playing together since 1978. Their rise to fame included being the International Bluegrass Music Association’s very first Entertainer’s of the Year; they are recognized across the board. They earned a nomination for the then-new bluegrass Grammy Award; they toured across four continents to now being considered a leader in the minds of many young musicians Their traditional yet cutting edge musical style, vintage look, and complete respect for tradition was apparent in every detail of their rise to fame. People have always been and will always love any music when they see it played with such skill, experience as well as the modern elements that have kept them in the minds of people for so many years. This three-day event is an annual event at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and tickets are going fast for this bodacious concert.
