Super Bowl 50 will take place February 7, 2016 in Santa Clara, CA at Levi’s Stadium. Kickoff for this historic event will be at 3:25 PM local California time. Built in 2014, Levi’s Stadium, home of the five-time Super Bowl Champion San Francisco 49’ers is the greenest and most technologically advanced sports venue around boasting 68,500 seats, 165 luxury suites and 8,500 club seats. Three solar bridges connecting the main parking area to the stadium contain hundreds of solar panels while a green roof atop the suite tower adds to the sustainability of the venue. Leading up to the main event, there will be a weeklong series of public events held throughout area including the NFL Experience and Super Bowl City fan village, offering activities for fans of all ages to revel in all things football as well as enjoy local San Francisco area attractions. This year’s playoff picture is an exciting one as there are no clear cut favorites in either division. In the AFC, any of the six teams can emerge and be the one to represent the division in the big game. Denver finished the regular season as the number one seed but struggled offensively at times in 2015. You can never count those pesky New England Patriots out despite being crippled by injuries. The Pittsburgh Steelers who enter the post season as the lowest seeded team have been hot lately and certainly have the talent to make a Super Bowl run. In the NFC, the Carolina Panthers ended the regular season with just one loss and will be looking to play the spoiler to both the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks who look very strong and will be tough to take down in the playoffs.
This year’s historic event will be an exciting one as the halftime show will be performed by Coldplay along with other special guests throughout the game. Be sure to purchase your Super Bowl 50 tickets early to not be shut out of this incredible once in a lifetime experience.
