Swedish House Mafia tickets are taking the trio of world renowned DJs around the world for an ever increasing and extensive tour schedule. The initial club dates were announced several months ago, but news of a hiatus that may permanent has club owners throughout the world scrambling to bring Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso to their balcony.
Hopefully One Last Tour, the title of the much publicized trip whose end comes in March 2014 when SHM closes down the Ultra Music Festival, will not be the last time this trio collaborate. The reason for the hiatus is quite simple; the members of Swedish House Mafia do not want to work on anything that is less than an evolution of the EDM genre. They felt that after releasing Until Now they could not avoid becoming a little stale and leave the progress of house in stasis. So, despite the groundbreaking success of singles “Save the World” (please check out the YouTube video for this track, it is hilarious and touching) and “Don’t You Worry Child”, both on the charts and in terms of sales, Swedish House Mafia has decided to take a break at the very least.
Overall, there is not much recording history to this trio. They have released a grand total of two full-length studio albums and six singles in four years. However, EDM is not a genre that demands a great number of released materials. Swedish House Mafia’s charge is to create a musical experience that transcends a simple set list. The club and its throng of people ready for a reason to spend an entire evening bumping and grinding, jumping, playing with glow sticks, and just dancing in general is the most important setting for any EDM DJ. This is where SHM excels and this is why the announcement of potentially final Swedish House Mafia club tickets is such a big deal. No other DJ or group of DJs has quite the ability to throw this kind of a party.
