Watching The Tennessee Titans In Action

The Tennessee titans go into the 2013 season with some optimism after a disappointing 6-10 2012 season. With Jake Locker sitting most of his Rookie season two years ago to learn behind Matt Hasselbeck, and sitting five games due to Injuries last year after showing some promise earlier in the season. Look for the young signal caller to have a bounce back year this season, the Titans have signed some free agents that will contribute to helping his progression in the game.

Free agent signings such as Guard Andy Levitre, a big body that will open holes for running back Chris Johnson and help protect Jake Locker from opposing defensive linemen. They also signed veteran Tight End Delanie Walker from the San Francisco 49ers, a physical player who is a good blocker that also makes plays in the passing game, he blocks better and will make about as many plays as the departed Jared Cook. They also picked up Shonn Greene from the New York Jets to back up Chris Johnson.

LP Field TicketsOn the defensive end they also improved the team by signing Safety George Wilson from the Buffalo Bills, they also signed big run stopper Sammie Hill and former Kansas City Chief Defensive end Ropati Pitoitua. The best move they made in defensive free agency was signing hard hitting safety and former Baltimore Raven Bernard Pollard. Pollard brings leadership and intensity to a defense that needs it.

They Drafted Guard Chance Womack from Alabama to contribute immediately and beef up the offensive line, and Wide Receiver Justin Hunter in the second round, Hunter is a capable receiver who can come in and contribute, also he can replace receiver Kenny Britt who had either been injured or suspended for some off the field issue the past two seasons.

While it is not likely the Titans will make the playoffs this year, do not be surprised if they upset a few teams on the way to an 8-8 season.
