Texas Rangers Tickets

For the past two seasons, Texas Rangers have experienced a downward trend mainly in the World Series and the American League Wild Card games However, this has not killed their spirit but rather, they have made more reinforcements for the upcoming 2014 season.

Since 2007, Major League Baseball shortstop Ron Washington has managed the team with the assistance of a competent coaching squad. He has seen the team to several victories including the American League and the World Series, and he currently holds the record for the most wins as a Texas Rangers manager.

Various changes have been made in the team's line up to improve on their offense and guarantee better chances of winning the league. For one, the team traded off Ian Kinsler, their second baseman for MVP and All-Star candidate Prince Fielder. Additionally, Shin-Soo Choo was also signed during the off-season to take on the lead-off spot. In spite of their uniqueness in the sport and the fact that they may have reconstructed the Rangers' powerhouse offense, Fielder and Choo will have a challenging time ensuring that the Texas Rangers win the title.

Rangers Ballpark TicketsTexas Rangers might have a difficult time winning the title, despite having solved the offense problem. The team depends chiefly on one pitcher, Yu Darvish since all other main pitchers (Derek Holland and Matt Harrison) are not yet fully recovered from previous surgeries and related injuries. However, two sophomore pitchers, Alexi Ogando and Martin Perez have been selected to fill the vacancies. The bullpen seems promising as it is, with Neftali Feliz nailing the saves with the assistance of Joakim Soria and Tanner Scheppers.

The starting lineup has been carefully selected and shows promise for the team's redemption and return to glory. However, this will chiefly depend on the rotations. A weak rotation might prevent the Rangers from the play-offs again. However, the players are strong enough to catapult the team to the 2014 title.

Texas Ranger Tickets

The Texas Rangers are one of the younger baseball teams in the MLB. They started briefly as the second professional baseball team in the nation’s capital in the 1960s, but moved to Texas since financial constraints made life difficult in D.C. This is not to suggest the move to a suburb north of Dallas resulted in anymore wins.

Wins, consistent wins, did not come until the late 1990s. Previous to these three AL West division wins the most exciting part of watching the Rangers was getting to see Nolan Ryan throw a no-hitter or eing lucky enough to see a roster full of sluggers pound the ball out of the park in the humid summer days and nights in Texas.

These winning Rangers teams (at the end of the 20th century) had Ivan Rodriguez, Dean Palmer, Juan Gonzalez, and Mickey Tettleton boosting the club’s slugging percentage. Texas’s pitching staff was certainly unappreciated by the majority of the rest of the MLB. It seemed the front office was always able to at least get a couple front end starters to make the team competitive. Whether it was Ken Hill and Bobby Witt or Rick Heiling and Aaron Sele, the baseball team was able to take the AL West three times in five years. Unfortunately, time and time again the Yankees stood in their way.

The Rangers veered back into futility to begin the 21st century. They would not find their winning way until the beginning of the second decade. Perennial 90-plus game winners with players like Josh Hamilton, Nelson Cruz, and Ian Kinsler, the franchise even played in its first two World Series. The club lost both, first to the Giants and second to the Cardinals, but they show no signs failing to return sometime soon.
