The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones TicketsThe Rolling Stones are an English Rock and Roll band that was formed in the early 1960’s in London, England.  Current members are: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood.    Within a year of their 1964 debut album the guys were being thought of as “being perceived by the youth of Britain and the world as representatives of opposition to the old, cruel order – the antidote to a class-bound, authoritarian culture.  They were instrumental in making blues a major part of rock and roll, and of changing the international focus of blues culture to the less sophisticated blues typified by Chess Records artists such as Muddy Waters, writer of “Rolling Stone”, the song after which the band is named after,” said Robert Palmer, 1981 in the NYT.
