The lockout-shortened 2011-12 NBA season is shaping up and the Denver Nuggets are proving to be more competitive than a lot of folks thought they would be. Although they lack a true closer to go to for that final shot in the closing seconds, the departure of Carmello Anthony has actually been an improvement for the club. They play more as a team now and typically can get as many as seven players in double figures.
